Scripter
Scripters write the server code a roleplay server runs on: jobs, systems and the tools staff use. The server owner posts the brief, and you deliver tested code.

What the work is
A scripter writes a resource for a roleplay server: a job, a system or a fix. The owner describes what the feature must do. You write it, test it on a private or local server, and hand over the code with a short guide to installing it. Roleplay servers run on GTA V today, most of them on FiveM.
What it pays
Pay is set per post. Posts usually state a project fee, an hourly rate or a monthly figure. An unpaid role says so on the post.
How to get hired
- Pick a post that describes the feature well enough to price it.
- Send two or three resources you wrote, with a repository link and a line on what each one does.
- Agree the scope, the pay and the licence before you start. Say in writing what you tested and where.
What to show
- Links to code you wrote, in a repository you control.
- A short write-up of each resource: what it does, what it depends on and how you tested it.
- The licence each resource is released under.
The rules
- Server code follows the rules a server must follow: no chance mechanics in any currency, and no in-game currency sold for real money.
- Our rule for in-server sales: any payment goes through Tebex, the only processor we allow.
- You share only code you have the right to share, and you name any third-party code you use.
- A sample is a repository link you can read. Nobody asks you to download and run a file.
- You are 18 or older, and you confirm it with a tick. Nobody pays to apply.
