What the work is
A clipper takes a long stream or video, finds the moments worth keeping and cuts each one into a short vertical clip with captions. The employer gives you the source footage or the channel to clip. You post the finished clips on your own accounts, and you put the ad label on every paid clip.
What it pays
Market context, not a RUCKUS rate: effective pay is usually USD 0.20 to USD 1.00 per 1,000 views; USD 2.00 per 1,000 is the most commonly advertised rate. Source: industry listings, November 2026 (estimate).
A post says how it pays: per 1,000 approved views, a fixed fee or a monthly figure. Nobody on this site promises views or earnings.
How to get hired
- Pick a post that states its pay, or one that says plainly that the role is unpaid.
- Send the employer three clips you made, each with the source footage it came from and the handle that posted it.
- Agree the pay, the deadline and the usage rights with the employer directly. RUCKUS does not negotiate them.
What to show
- Three finished clips, linked from your own accounts or your own page.
- Your handle on each platform you post on.
- Your usual turnaround, stated in working days.
The rules
- You are 18 or older, and you confirm it with a tick. Nobody asks for ID or a date of birth.
- Every paid clip carries the platform’s paid-partnership tag, and #ad on the clip itself.
- You clip only footage you have the right to clip, and you name its source in the post.
- Nobody pays to apply, and nobody asks you to pay for a test, a course or a place.
- No post promises views or earnings, and no post asks you for money up front.
